</PRE></noinclude> Sato is a resident of Hinamizawa and also an informer who provides Ōishi with information from the village. He seems to gain information from a member of the Three Families since he can inform Akasaka about their conversation in Himatsubushi-hen.

Akasaka notes that his name sounds dubious and is probably an alias. He has been a close friend of Ōishi and the Construction Manager, with whom he frequently plays mahjong. He is given no sprite in the visual novel but is depicted in the manga and the anime.

Sato has brown hair and blue eyes. He wears a blue shirt. He also has a black car in which he meets contacts.
