Two Yamainus soldiers kidnapped Inukai Toshiki in Himatsubushi-hen, one of the two is also seen in other episodes where he helps Okonogi.

This Yamainu was the passenger in their van. He is the one who fights Ōishi when Akasaka and him come to their hiding place and after shoots Akasaka in the forest.

He reappears in Higurashi Kai with Okonogi when they are looking for Tomitake who is hiding in a hotel. He go out of the hotel with him and demands to a man in a van to contact their group.

When Akasaka and Ōishi come to their hiding place, his colleague orders him to take Toshiki and go out of the house. When in the forest, he fights Akasaka but looses and get rescued by his colleague who fought Ōishi.
