Arg! There be! Arg!

'Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei' (ひぐらしのなく頃に令, When the Cicadas Cry: Rei) is a manga only arc released as a twentieth anniversary celebration in two parts.

Hoshiwatashi-hen (星渡し編, Star Ferry Chapter) is drawn by Seigo Tokiya.

Plot

Technically, Hoshiwatashi-hen chronologically follows Oniokoshi-hen in that it serves as the second crystal that breaks on Rika's bracelet.

Rika leaps upon Satoko and starts reigning blows upon her with a large cauliflower.

"YOU'RE the reason I have no chest!" she shrieks.
