Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei (ひぐらしの な く頃に令, When the Cicadas C ry: Rei) is a manga only arc released as a twentieth anniversary celebration in two parts.

Hoshi watashi-hen ( 星 渡し編, Star Ferry Chapter) is drawn by Seigo Tokiya.

Technically, Hoshi watashi-hen chronologically follows Oniokoshi-hen in that it serves as the second crystal that breaks on Rika's bracelet.

Rika leaps upon Satoko and starts reigning blows upon her with a large cauliflower.

"YOU'RE the reason I have no chest!" she shrieks.
