<noinclude></noinclude> The Okinomiya Police Station (興宮所 okinomiya-sho) appears first in episode 3 of Onikakushi-hen. It is located in Okinomiya, the neighbour city of Hinamizawa. The three floored building has many officers and staff and departments like the Department of Public Safety and the pathologist's office. In Himatsubushi-hen, Akasaka Mamoru bases his investigation with Hondaya in the station. The officers are often seen in the station while investigating the cases of mysterious deaths in Hinamizawa, including Ōishi Kuraudo, a police officer who is close to retirement. Other police officers like Kumagai Katsuya and Komiyama also work here.
